Freedom isn’t what you think it is

The real deal on freedom

You know what we’ve all been sold?

A version of freedom that’s tied to stuff: more money, more success, more… fill in the blank.

But I was watching this series on Netflix called Murder Mindfully (yes, the name is a little… bold, but stick with me),

and the mentor dropped a gem that hit me hard:

“Freedom isn’t about having money or things. It’s about choosing to do what feels good for you and saying no to what doesn’t.”

like yes

freedom isn’t about endless options or a fat bank account.

It’s waking up and thinking “today, I get to decide what aligns with me”

It’s saying, “No, thanks” to things that don’t serve you. No to the soul-sucking meetings, the toxic people, or even that extra donut if it’s just gonna make you feel blah later (been there)

But here’s the kicker:

Real freedom is a practice. It’s about checking in with yourself daily. Asking:

  • Does this feel good for me?

  • Is this aligned with where I want to go?

  • Am I saying yes because I want to or because I feel like I have to?

Every choice you make is a vote for the life you want.

It’s your steering wheel. Turn left, turn right, or stop entirely if the road feels wrong

Also, if you haven’t seen “Murder Mindfully”, I recommend it.

It’s hilarious and super interesting (even if the name is a little controversial). What makes it stand out is the brilliant mix of dark humor and psychological depth. The way it twists mindfulness—something we usually associate with calm and balance—into a tool for manipulation and survival

Here’s the trailer—don’t say I never share the good stuff

I dare you to take one decision today—just one—and choose it because it’s what you want, not what you feel pressured to do

And now, for something a little personal 💌

I cleaned up my subscriber list today because, honestly? Some of you weren’t opening these emails, and it made me sad :( I pour my heart into these, and I want them to reach people who actually care.

If you’re still here, I love you for it! 💖 But here’s the deal:

If you want to keep getting these, reply to this email with the best experience of your life (I know, big question, but I’m nosy). Or, if you’re shy like me, just open the emails—you don’t even have to respond. We can be shy together

This space is for brave, engaged people only. No passengers, only drivers. So, are you in?

Dare to choose freedom,
