Do you ever find yourself rushing through your mornings, barely having time to think, let alone prepare for the day? I used to feel that way too—constantly chasing the clock and starting my day in stress-mode.
But everything changed when I embraced the power of the morning.
By becoming a morning person (trust me, it was a challenge at first), I gained something I didn’t even realize I was missing—CONTROL. Control over my time, my mindset, and ultimately, my life. It’s not just about waking up early; it’s about using those quiet, early hours to set the tone for a successful, focused day.
There’s actual science
behind why waking up early can change your life. Studies have shown that early risers tend to be more proactive, better at decision-making, and have improved mental health. It’s because the brain is most alert after a good night’s rest, and tapping into that time can drastically improve your productivity and mood throughout the day.
This is how I did it and you can too:
Start gradually: If you’re not naturally an early riser, don’t go from waking up at 8 AM to 5 AM overnight. Start by waking up 15 minutes earlier each day. Let your body adjust without shocking your system.
Prepare the night before: A great morning starts the night before. Plan your tasks, set out your clothes, and prepare your space so that when you wake up, you're ready to start your day with clarity.
Create a ritual: Make your mornings something you look forward to. For me, it’s having a cup of coffee in peace, followed by a short stretch and journaling session. Your ritual could include meditation, exercise, or reading—whatever helps you feel centered.
No phone zone: Avoid the temptation to reach for your phone first thing. The minute you open social media or emails, you're inviting the chaos of the world into your head. Instead, dedicate your first hour to yourself—focus on your intentions for the day.
STOP RIGHT HERE AND THINK ABOUT THIS:

What would your ideal morning look like if there were no distractions?
